Tuesday 18th June saw a lovely sunny evening in Galway City and the launch of the new Level 8 Specialist Diploma in Corporate Environmental Planning which has been developed in collaboration with Next Level Skillnet and NUI Galway Adult Learning & Professional Development.

We were delighted to welcome newly appointed Mayor of Galway City Councillor Mike Cubbard to open the event.

Speaking at the event Network Manager of Next Level Skillnet, Gerard Murray said “The launch of this program comes at a critical point for the Environment where sustained damage to our planet may occur unless we change our policies. This Program can help us make Irish Business World leaders in the area of sustainable energy utilisation and environmental protection.”
